Party at the Park

We went to a really nice park today to play and celebrate our friend's 2nd birthday.

What a great idea. The kids had a blast!

Umstead Park

Mike took the boys hiking!  They went to Umstead park, enjoyed a beautiful Fall day and a picnic lunch. It's great now that they are getting old enough to participate in activities such as that. Good times making great memories!

Halloweeeeeen

Not real great, but got a few pictures of the kids dressed up for Halloween and various related events.  If you have been following my Blog, and you happen to remember... Sam wore this Hulk costume last year as well. A little small, but still fits! We have so many costumes that either came from cousins, or we just happen to have because my boys like to dress up so much! I got all of them out and just let the kids take their pick. Costume choice number one was for their school parade. As you see, Sam was the Incredible Hulk and Connor was Mr. Incredible.

 Sammy was invited to a little costume party. Today he felt like being a pirate! Arrrrrrgh!

Mr. Incredible here to save the day!

 Every year Mike and I have a big Halloween Party. As most of you know, his birthday is also on Halloween, so we go all-out! Lots of friends, neighbors and family joined in the fun. Connor and Sam dressed as Hulk and Mr. Incredible again. I was the Octomom. Mike was the Grim Reaper. Jen and Matt were Snookie and Pauly D. Ryan was an old time bartender, J.T. was a cowgirl and Deb was a Do-Wop girl in a poodle skirt. Yes! Deb and Gracie flew in from Atlanta to surprise me! I was surprised for sure and we had so much fun all weekend! Unfortunately I didn't do a good job this Halloween keeping up with taking pictures. I could just kick myself because there were so many great costumes! Jen won the costume contest though. Yea Jen!
The next day was trick-or-treating. Gracie was a bumble bee, Connor was a member of the SWAT team and Sam wore a different Pirate costume. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Soccer Season Ends

We all joined my nephew Nicholas and his team for Pizza and trophies! He is a great little soccer player!

Micro Soccer

This year Connor participated in Spring AND Fall soccer. He loves it so much and as I have said before...he is very good at it! We all get such a kick out of watching this little guy. No Pun intended! I can't wait to see if he continues with this sport and what position he ends up playing. Right now he is playing all of them! The faces he makes are priceless and at times he even growls to intimidate the other team. It is so funny!

This season Connor and his best buddy Lukas FINALLY got to play on the same team together. These boys have known each other since they were weeks old. It is so cool to see them grow and play together.

Football time!

We scored some tickets to an App. State Game. It was really fun. We packed for the day, tailgated, got to show the kids the campus and watched MOST of the game. It was crazy hot for a Fall day in the mountains. We just couldn't hang for the entire game

State Fair Time

Mike and I decided it would be a good year to bring the kids to the State Fair. Connor is 5 and Sam is 2 so they could both enjoy all of the many things to see, food to eat and rides to go on. It was in deed, a good time!
