So Coool

Gracie's Lady Bug Party - Age 2

Deb got so creative with the Lady Bug theme! Look how cute everything is!

Let us EAT CAKE!

Easter Part 2

After the Easter Egg hunt at our house, we headed to Church and then to Aunt Jenny's for Brunch. She out-did herself again. Food was AWESOME and everything was so beautiful! The kids all enjoyed playing together, going on a "basket" hunt, decorating cookies and telling each other about what they got from the Easter Bunny.

After all of this fun, we went on to Easter Part 3! We headed over to MiMi and Pappy's house for another Easter Egg Hunt and more DELICIOUS food! It was a long day but SO MUCH FUN. I wish we had thought to charge our camera battery in between, because our Camera was dead by Part 3. Sorry not pictures from that part.

EASTER!

Boy oh Boy! The Easter Bunny went and lost his mind this year! WAAAAAY too much candy left for the boys. I am going to have to send him a letter for next year requesting a lot less candy and more of something, ANYTHING else. I must say, he DID do well with the gift he left in the basket for each of them. Sam got a Lightning McQueen Car, HIS FAVORITE and Connor got another (Tag) Leap Frog Book to add to his collection.

Anyway... more details! Connor left him a note the night before, asking the Easter Bunny to please just hide the plastic eggs we have, downstairs in the living room for them, and to NOT make it very hard to find the eggs. After completing his 3 page letter to the Big Bunny... he decided that he needed to leave some food for him. SOOOOO, we left some cheese outside at the front door for the bunny to eat and find his way into our home. Yes, I said cheese! It was cheese left out because I LOVE carrots and forgot that we needed at least ONE to leave for the Easter Bunny and I ate them ALL. Sorry Mr. Bunny. We will be better prepared next year!

I guess it all worked out though, because all the eggs we left out were hidden around the living room, and filled with candy! Their little faces were priceless running around looking for the eggs and their baskets. Mike and I got such a kick out of watching them.

Puppy Love

Uncle Ryan and Aunt J.T. got a puppy! We stopped by one beautiful day to meet the cute little guy! It was FORE SURE love at first sight for Sam. I felt so bad for him when it was time to go home and leave the puppy. He boo hooed so hard when we left. He sure loves little puppy Boone.

Mardi Gras Festival

Above is Connor's Best Buddy, Lukas who he has known since he was a baby. The picture below him is Connor and his classmate, Max. Both pictures were taken at Connor's Mardi Gras Festival at school. The original date for this got rained out, so this was the Mardi Gras "DO OVER". Lots of really cool things here for the kids. Bouncy houses, games with prizes, beaded necklaces, face painting and much more! Connor was not lucky enough to get his face painted like Lukas did. We were really bummed about that because the painter was SO amazing! I WILL hire her for some event though an he WILL get his face painted. Mark my words folks!

Durham Museum of Science

Out with friends again for a bit of a science lesson. Saw ALL KINDS of things here. Kids had a blast as usual. Lots of walking involved and us parents were pooped by the end of our visit. In the top picture... I PROMISE we didn't stick Annaka in the corner! There was a perfect little seat on this very large rock, and she insisted on sitting there. She really had the best seat in the house for this exhibit.
