So Coool

Farm Days Exhibit

Out with the gang (Connor, Sam, Annaka, Ryan and Hayden). Today we headed out to the Farm Days Exhibit. Lots of fun seeing Bunnies, a Momma horse and her baby, Cows, Sheep, Chickens etc. If it lives on a farm, WE SAW IT!

"Cone of Shame"

Jammy Day with the dog. We stayed home to hang out with poor C.J. She had to have surgery again. She tends to get fatty tumors in such places that are risky to leave alone. After time they could cause problems with vital organs so we have had to get them removed. She is doing great and fortunately for us, we were able to have her teeth cleaned too while she was under. YEAAA! FRESH BREATH!

Here she is wearing what Mike calls the "Cone of Shame". A name he got from a scene in the children's movie "Up". We happened to have this cone from the last time she had surgery. Connor was two at the time and had decorated it with doggy stickers for her. It was really cute to pull out and see the sweet cone that he fixed up for her.

Swim Lessons!

It is THAT time again! Time to get back in the pool for some water saftey, exercise and fun after a LONG winter. Connor has done so well this time around. Last year he took two rounds of swim lessons at the YMCA and was still not so sure about it. This time he is excited to be there, jumping in with his head going under water, chatting it up with his teacher and has become way stronger and more confident. He can't wait for round two to get here in May!

Big Group Party

Above is a picture of an amazing cake that JT made from scratch for our big birthday bash. We celebrated everyone you see in the pictures on the cake. Ryan's birthday was February 2nd, mine was the 10th, Nicholas' was the 15th, Mom's was the 24th and Max's was March 1st. We just knocked it all out with one BIG party! There are so many birthdays in February for us, I think we are going to do this EVERY YEAR from now on!

SNOW DAY!

Well, it snowed last night and that is why I'm sitting on my rump in the house getting caught up on our family blog. We are all just hanging out in our jammies, playing Wii games and just spending time being inside and warm. HOWEVER... a couple of weeks ago, we had our first REAL snow storm of the year. Of course we got all bundled up, went outside and it was almost unbearably cold. We were able to go outside, make a couple of snow angels, sled down the street and then go back inside! TOOO COLD! The next day we could go outside and build a snow man and play for a while. MUCH BETTER! Here are some pictures of the first day though. Sam spent most of his time falling down and having a hard time getting back on his feet. Connor had fun running all over the place, jumping, diving, sledding, throwing snow balls at me and FREEZING!
Good times.

She's Heeeeere!

My oldest sister Deb and her husband, Dave went St. Kitts to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. While they were gone, we were lucky enough to be asked to take care of their little Gracie. We had so much fun with her! Unfortunately we took lots of pictures of this event and they went bye bye (explained in post below) with the Dentist photos. These were the only two picts. left along with a little clip of her dancing. Besides loving to dance to the Wiggles, she loved playing with those little ice cream cones in the top picture! Oh and that pack n'play you see in that same picture was a complete joke. She stayed in it long enough for me to leave the room and then she would climb out of it and right in to Connor's big bed! We just let her stay there because she was so comfy that she was actually sleeping through the night. Needless to say... now she is home and Mommy and Daddy got her a BIG BED to sleep in!

Look at this face. Too cute!
Big BOO BOO! Yep, that owie on her forehead is where she had fallen and split it open the night before she came to stay with Mike and me. She had to get some stitches for it and handled getting them out like a champ. She had to get them out while she was here and without Mommy. Grace is one TOUGH COOKIE! Though she is tough... there is one thing that helped her get through the hard times. Her dolly, Betty. Thanks for getting Betty for Grace Pop Pop!

Dentist Time

Well, I'm REALLY bummed.
I took a ton of super cute pictures of Connor at his first Dentist appointment.
I think a certain somebody(Connor) got ahold of the camera to take some pictures around the house and maybe erased MY pictures in the process. My fault!!! I shouldn't have let him play with the camera. Oh well. Anyway... these are a couple of shots from Mike's phone camera. They don't really do the visit any justice though. Connor did awesome! He was excited all day, hopped up into the chair and was on cloud 9 the entire visit. The dentist was most impressed and so were Mike and I! Oh... and no cavities. WHOO HOOO!
