So Coool

Football time!

We scored some tickets to an App. State Game. It was really fun. We packed for the day, tailgated, got to show the kids the campus and watched MOST of the game. It was crazy hot for a Fall day in the mountains. We just couldn't hang for the entire game

.

State Fair Time

Mike and I decided it would be a good year to bring the kids to the State Fair. Connor is 5 and Sam is 2 so they could both enjoy all of the many things to see, food to eat and rides to go on. It was in deed, a good time!

Monnnnnnsterrrrrrrr TRUCK!

Sam didn't last very long. You know you are tired when
there is an entire State Fair going on around you, and you can sleep right through it.

That there... sure is a lot of chickens!
We saw so many animals at the State Fair, but the lighting was so bad that I wasn't able to get many good pictures.  I love this one though because it captures how excited Connor was to be there!
He is in the bottom right corner of this picture. NOT in a cage.

To Bee or NOT to Bee?

Painting with friends

I volunteered to make something for Connor's class at school. It involved lots of painting. Connor and his buddy Lukas were supposed to be the main ones helping me with this project, but the little ones decided to take over! Sam grabbed a brush, began painting and before we knew it, he and his friends (Ryan and Hayden) were undressed and covered in paint! WHAT A MESS!!!

IBM fun!

Pappy works for IBM. They put together a fantastic fall festival complete with great food, lots of games, rides, clowns and more! MiMi and Pappy brought us along for the fun. We all had a blast!

Connor has hot pink, plastic vampire teeth in his mouth. He won them playing one of the games. I don't EVEN want to know how many people touched those teeth before he put it in his mouth. YUK!

"Do I have something on my face?"

So much fun!

Connor's 5th Birthday!

It is FINALLY HERE! Connor's 5th birthday! He told me that he had been waiting his whole life for this day! He is SO excited to be five years old. We had a party for my nephew Hunter at Hill Ridge Farm back in April and Connor had so much fun that he begged for his party to be there too! Well, that is exactly what we did! We had our family and some of his closest friend from the neighborhood join in the fun! It WAS a blast! The weather was perfect and we practically had the place to ourselves. It was Pirate themed as you will see from the pictures. Here are some of my favorite shots of the BIG DAY!

Cooookies!!!

Every year I try to make Connor an amazing cake for his birthday. I spend way too much time and effort on them and he doesn't even really like cake!  This year we went for the birthday cookie.
We didn't really get a great picture of it, but I thought it turned out pretty good.
It was a huge mound of cookies with gold coins, fake rings and other golden candy.
The kids LOVED it! the best part was that I spend about 10 minutes on the entire thing!

Lama. Where?

Each of the kids got food to feed all of the animals and the Cat Fish in the pond. Unfortunately it was while I was cleaning up and I only got a shot of this lama. There were goats, sheep, chickens, roosters, ect.
